Is the P0625Z stainless steel ? or steel ? I need to rust it with Vinegar and peroxide to create a vintage look. Is it possible ? Thanks

This product is steel with a zinc finish. The solution would remove the zinc finish and corrode the hinge. Its not something we have tested as it would continually degrade the hinge over a period of time.
