Last July, the Beijing China National Convention Center was host to the 13th InfoComm China exhibition to record 40,000 visitors.
Firmly established as Asia Pacific’s premier Professional Audiovisual and Integrated Experience trade show, it has become a must-attend date in the calendar. Boasting an exhibitor list of over 400 with 80% having been before, another showcase from Penn Elcom was well anticipated.
More than just an exhibition, InfoComm is a vital platform where innovations in the pro audio/visual industry are shared and developed in their crucial early stages. Such grassroots support is a tangible benefit for attendees who are manufacturers and systems integrators especially.
As established leaders in these industries, we made sure of a strong presence to share our latest 19-inch racking hardware and accessory developments. Our attendance there gives us the opportunity to engage with our audience: decision-makers, industry experts and academics alike as they visit the many workshops, forums and seminars.
Our Sales Manager Linda Huang was front and centre at our stand, so we asked if she was happy to share her insight on the show:
Q: Hi Linda, for those who don’t know - please tell us a bit about the event.
“The show is InfoComm Beijing, a popular show for AudioVisual and Experimental Communications technologies which shape the future of different industries. We attended the show in 2016 and this year was the second time we attended it.”
Q: Which products did your team showcase and what were visitors most interested in?
“We took 19-inch hardware with us and saw interest in our flatpack server rack, drawers and the R8010 slide and rotate rack.”
Q: Lastly, did we receive interesting feedback from the visitors to our stand?
“Customers liked our flatpack server rack that will save on their freight cost and is easy to transport. Most of them also asked if we have a waterproof cabinet which can be set outdoors.”
