This month’s product spotlight is on the 1U Rack Drawer with two Slam Locks, a high-quality steel drawer that is perfect for organising and segmenting your 19 inch racking installations. This drawer, specifically designed for use in any 1U rack, has a depth of 41 mm/ 1.6 inches and is the perfect stowing system for any electrical equipment including AV, TV and computing components.
Alternatively, the rack drawer can be installed upside down and used as a shelf if needed (though of course is not as secure as our specially designed 1U rack shelf). The drawer is made from strong 1.2.mm/ 0.047 inch steel, giving it a generous recommended load capacity of 19 kg/ 41.9 pounds.
The drawer has front and rear mounting ears for easy installation, ball bearing rails, and has an adjustable depth of 370 mm to 560 mm. The two slam locks located at the front of the drawer keep the drawer and its contents secure and steady while inside the rack. The easy-to-use locks also give you quick and easy access to the drawer's contents when needed.
