As regular attendees at the Integrated Systems Europe headline event, Penn Elcom’s 2020 stand marked the final one at traditional home at the RAI venue. After fifteen years, ISE 2021 will open in a new location entirely by relocating to Barcelona.
The show went out with suitable fanfare as more than 50,000 visitors saw top-quality content like the training, keynote speeches and conferences ISE is known for. As the global industry’s largest annual platform, the show delivered five days packed with the latest innovations in A/V integrations.
The event opened with a bombastic presentation by former Disney executive of 25 years Duncan Wardle, who shared elite insight on harnessing creativity and innovation. The busy schedule of events that followed delivered on expectations and went beyond, as many organizers reported this year as their best yet.
Our own stand was a great example of the show’s attractiveness as we showcased our latest products to a fantastic turnout of visitors. With engagement and lead generation doing so well at ISE, interest in our Panel Designer software and Slide & Rotate 19-inch rack enclosures was very high.
Penn Elcom’s man on the stand Dan Johnson was there for the full duration and gave us his view of how the show went for us.
Could you give our readers a quick introduction to the event?
ISE is one of the world’s leading home automation and technology shows based in Europe. It’s a great place for new business to be found and also to meet existing customers, showcase new products and grow relationships. This show we managed to pick up some new distributors and new customers from all parts of the world
Which products did we showcase this time?
The full 19” range was represented in some way and visitors came to see our custom wallmount solutions and lots of enclosures such as our open frame and enclosed tower models. Also, our power distribution units and rack lights were popular. I’d say the real show stoppers were the R8010 slide and rotate, the new R6225 shallow wall rack and of course our flagship R4 and R5 series rack enclosures.
What was the feedback like from those who came to our stand?
We had lots of happy customers along with lots of discussion on how products could be developed but the main thing that stood out was the volume of interest that we have in our range and how the brand is becoming more and more trusted around the world.
Sounds like another really strong event for Penn Elcom! We’re looking forward to the new ISE venue in Barcelona next year.
