Since our last spotlight on Flightcase Warehouse, the team have been extremely busy fulfilling a range of exciting projects. These custom builds featuring Penn Elcom case hardware are just some of their latest #PennOnTour submissions, and we can't wait to see more!
Large project underway in the Aerospace sector for Safran
This was part of a 3-year project to produce a packing solution to house landing gear parts. This has saved the client in damages, down time, visual managements and the current solution they were using needed 5 crates compared to our one case solution. These are designed for internal use between the 2 sites in the UK and France. Custom coloured CNC foam inserts with part ID tags were also added for improved transportation, usability and management.
New extra large stillages designed for the motorsport sector
Using 12mm hexa with grey internal balancer board, double extrusion, recessed fittings, custom internals and black on black 18mm birch ply, these cases also feature a Quick-Release aluminium alloy tie Down rail system, custom steel forklift skid base, custom steel internal braces, joining channel and black edition Penn Elcom hardware.
Large production for lighting company
Over 250 road trunks were created and shipped to Germany to support large lighting company Christie.
Designed and developed a sport medical flight case
Created for a football team to maximise efficiency and space. A full portable flight case solution was designed and manufactured to support the Aston Villa medical team and help them move all of their necessary equipment for training days and match days across the UK and Europe.
Designed and built cases for Vulcan luminaire
100 flight cases were made for transporting and storing the Vulcan PAR 18. A custom steel base with split top lid design was produced for access and protection.
And we couldn't do a #PennOnTour update with Flightcase Warehouse without a special mention of these awesome flight case flowerpots!
