As integral regulars to the annual ProLight + Sound exhibition, this year proved to be another strong showing for Penn Elcom and it certainly was one to remember.

This time the global show travelled to Germany, taking place at the Messe Frankfurt, a sprawling ‘city within a city’ of purpose-built halls and grounds so huge it’s even considered the world’s largest trade fair. Rightly so, because Frankfurt am Main keeps an ancient tradition of holding its renowned fairs, with the earliest one recorded as far back as July of 1240!

Penn chose a spacious 110 square metre stand in the naturally-lit Hall 4 which allowed us to dedicate large sections for exhibiting 19-inch hardware, our CROSS cable crossovers, flight case hardware, two software platforms as well as an experience centre to demo newly launching flight case products.

The latter was of particular interest to our visitors who enjoyed seeing how they could use our new STACK corner, W8260 ‘Big Wheel’ and anti-slam hinge. As Penn Elcom is a leader in developing innovative ideas, it was a big opportunity for us to show the industry we’ve been hard at work creating products that will ensure their builds are better.

Also popular were the two software solutions we offer which let users digitally design racks or cases for production. Being able to freely use Rack247 and CaseDesigner impressed all those who attended and showed many new ways in which they could streamline build processes and save money as well.

All in all, the show was another great success for Penn Elcom and we’re already looking forward to next year!
