Back in July 2021, we launched our much anticipated SMOL3 range of case latches, designed to deliver our most cutting-edge latch technology in our slimmest design yet.
SMOL®3 Medium Latches in Plain, Shallow and Offset Dish Styles
We've packed all of the technology from our larger MOL3 latch into a slimmer new medium-sized model. Our trademark automatic latch action both secures and releases the catch with just a turn of the key, guaranteeing a perfect action every time and eliminating the need to support the case or hold the lid down. The auto mechanism can also be overridden by manual operation as well, a feature uncommon with other brand latches.
Effortless operation isn't the only amazing feature though… The slimline recessed dish and patented low-level T-Cam mechanism make for a flusher profile than ever before with a protrusion of just 3mm (0.11") outside the 10mm (3/8") dish, and practically no protrusion from the 14mm (1/2”) deep dish! This protects against impact damage, knocks and scrapes. The streamlined shape and design also allow cases to be stacked closer and more safely.
The ingenious design's single-handed operation guarantees a perfect action every time with no extra effort - even in the dark.
The SMOL3 is available in two depths, 14mm (1/2") and 10mm (3/8”). Choose optional 22mm (7/8") and 27mm (1 1/16") offsets for flush and clean-looking installations, even over extrusions. Also available are two models with bottom half offsets, giving you a clean install on the lid and base extrusions.
